Married: Allison and Doug
From the moment I met these two they were an absolute joy. Always easy going and just happy. It’s just fun to be around them. All of their friends and family were so sweet too. And I’m still obsessed with that church. I actually drive past it to go to my daughter’s preschool and I always wondered if the inside was as pretty as the outside… it was! All the stain glass was incredible!
I am so happy for these two, and also jealous of their amazing Europe honeymoon (legit the food photos were killing me!).
Venue: Dock 580
Married: Julie + Jordan
I met Julie and Jordan last summer and knew right away how great they were. Things like not having the location we planned on doing portraits may have been the worst thing to ever happen to a couple on a wedding day ended up being totally fine with these two. There was a festival going on at Scioto Mile the day of the wedding so getting down there was extremely difficult. We decided on Franklin Park Conservatory last minute and I'm so glad we did- it was perfect! They also handled the extreme heat with complete grace. I just loved getting to spend such a day full of love with them... She was the 9th Bride to wear that beautiful veil even! If that isn't passed down love I don't know what is. Every detail was just perfect. HAPPY WEDDING DAY TO THESE TWO AGAIN, CONGRATS!
Married: Kait + Tim
Kait + Tim
Clintonville Women's Club
I loved Kaitlin and Tim right away upon our first meeting at the coffee shop. They are so genuine and sometimes you meet people that you just instantly click with. (Their entire wedding party was awesome, like instant friends awesome!)
During the outdoor ceremony it started pouring buckets of water just as the Bride walked down the aisle. The Groom ran out to meet her and it was basically magical. You would think the water would ruin things but it didn't at all. And all the formals were done after the rain and it was honestly beautiful light.
I know I don't post tons of my weddings on my blog (which I always strive to post more!) but that just married look is my favorite. So beyond happy to be able to meet every couple and capture such pure moments. Thanks to another year of photographing LOVE!
