I loved Kaitlin and Tim right away upon our first meeting at the coffee shop. They are so genuine and sometimes you meet people that you just instantly click with. (Their entire wedding party was awesome, like instant friends awesome!)

During the outdoor ceremony it started pouring buckets of water just as the Bride walked down the aisle. The Groom ran out to meet her and it was basically magical. You would think the water would ruin things but it didn't at all. And all the formals were done after the rain and it was honestly beautiful light.

I know I don't post tons of my weddings on my blog (which I always strive to post more!) but that just married look is my favorite. So beyond happy to be able to meet every couple and capture such pure moments. Thanks to another year of photographing LOVE! 

engagement season has arrived

I CAN'T WAIT FOR ALL THE 2018 WEDDINGS! I have the best couples, and this coming year doesn't disappoint. All the weddings will be so beautiful (and fun!). This particular couple is no exception, their engagement session was so much fun-- they were game for anything. We walked around German Village and had the absolute best time! Kaitlin sent me the sweetest email too when she followed up-- to once again prove BEST BRIDES EVER. 2018 I'm coming for you!

a surprise birthday celebration

I met Kurt about 8 years ago in the National Guard and he was one of the nicest pilots and biggest gentlemen I'd come across in my career. He's a friend to everyone and such a hard worker. It was a matter of time til he met his match-- Lindsay is the girl boss of La Jeune Mariee (a bridal storefront downtown) and another person who I'm pretty sure that doesn't sleep. They are the sweetest people and have the prettiest family I've ever seen. I was so honored to get to photograph such a milestone in their lives. Here's to being 40-- and another 40 years Kurt! Cheers!!
