Taking my six year old to Las Vegas for her birthday sounded strange when I didn't preface it with the fact that her closest cousins (my sister's family) lived there now. I had never been there so it was both our first times. We absolutely loved it. I can see why she enjoys living there. We saw so many fun things. I REALLY wanted to see the Venetian hotel and take gondola rides so that may have been my favorite thing. We saw a cactuses galore, red rock, and did some fun family stuff-- did I mention my brother in law is a helicopter pilot so we got to check some of those out too! I took some family photos of them as well (which I LOVED all of them!) so my next post will be of those photos. I just need to narrow down my favorites! Enjoy!

New Addition: Meet Liv

First of all this family had triplets the first go around and then added a fourth girl. I love a dad who has daughters. Our own girls acted like they were part of the family. It's such a special thing when you meet another family that yours just instantly fits with. I am also now totally sold on buying a teacup poodle-- don't tell me husband.

when a military couple meets hollywood glam

Its crazy how many times the Universe was telling Jessi and I to be friends. She got out of the military shop I had just joined-- we barely missed each other. When I was training in TN she was there too for a different school. When I was in Guam, she was also working there. And come to find out she was prom dates with my now husband. It's like hey guys hang out already. 

Then we did, and it was magic. She's so kind & so intelligent. And that combination with being serious about dreaming big and getting stuff done sold me on a forever friend. It's easy to see that Ben is a perfect match for her too. They are so balancing but yet similar-- and gosh did they make the cutest little girl! And these two know how to have fun! The wedding from beginning to end had me smiling nonstop. Their families were incredibly sweet and all the speeches had me tearing up. Ben gave a speech to his brand new Bride and it was one of the best I've heard. Congrats to these two-- I mean three. They have a bright future and I can't wait to see it unfold!
