Printing Photos

I didn’t always send prints in my bridal packages. I myself didn’t print a wedding photos until a year after my wedding. It sounds crazy to me now but its truth for a lot of people. So I always choose some pretty photos to print special for my couples and send them a beautiful glass box to display them in.

I will also mention that printing with a professional print lab matters. If we do a meeting in person I always bring comparison photos (usually one from costco, walgreens, and my lab). How they change the colors and saturation is super noticeable but also how the paper feels and how long it will last matters. if you’re only printing 3-5 photos for your home, you probably want them to last 100+ years! If anyone needs recommendations on where to print I’d love to help. Just comment below and I’ll send you some ideas.

New Series of Most Instgrammable Spots in Columbus, Ohio. North Market is the absolute cutest.

I love coming up with new places to photograph families and seniors, especially when they want a more lifestyle feel. But the Columbus classics never go out of style and one of those is North Market.

And when I think of North Market I think of beautiful florals, yummy bakeries, and delicious bubble tea. All my favorite things. I would like to add their is also great healthy food there, I’m just not the best at showcasing it always. What’s your favorite North Market spot?

All the Traveling Places WITHIN DRIVING DISTANCE TO OHIO

When we started our family we took a major break from traveling. Coming from military backgrounds both my husband and I had traveled a lot throughout our lives.
When we wanted to start traveling again we realized quickly all the baby things we had to take while traveling was easier when you were driving. And since I’m not a major fan of being in a car for more than 6 hours it limited where we would go.
In the last few years we have drove to Chicago, parts of Michigan, Pittsburgh, Philly, Gatlinburg and Nashville.
Strangely my favorite place was not what I would have thought it would be. I look back on PHILADELPHIA as one of my absolute favorite vacations with the kids.
I didn’t know how much history was really there, or how great the food would be.. and all within driving distance. We stayed in the cutest Airbnb but I will warn all that parking downtown was a beast. Especially in our larger truck.
That brings us to this mini vacation. We took a quick trip to Atlanta last month which was a breath of fresh air so this month we decided on Destin. It was one of the last Florida destinations I had never been to. And 30A is the cutest! I’m still waiting on some film scans from that adventure (sorry peeps but we flew there, that’s too far for this mama to drive.)! Instead I’ll post some of my FIRST FUJI FILM SCANS that I just got back from The Richard Photo Lab.
